Selecting Target Markets & Underwriting for COVID-19

Due to COVID-19 precautions, we continued to hold the MeetUp via Zoom. We had a fantastic turnout and engaged discussion. Audie Black – Co-Organizer – presented a deeper-dive into how to chose target markets outside of Idaho. The multifamily landscape is quickly changing across the country in response to COVID-19.

Jack Aduwo also completed live mock underwriting of a commercial multifamily asset (24 units) using an example Offering Memorandum (OM). Not only did Jack cover underwriting fundamentals, but he also examined specific underwriting assumptions that you should carefully consider in response to the current COVID-19 situation and the coming wave of atypically high economic vacancies.
